Protest in Murcia in support to the Palestinian People
FAI Murcia participated with a number of different organisations in a protest in support to the people of Palestine. The protest put forward the following demands:
- Cessation of the blockade of the Gaza Strip.
- Cease the construction of illegal settlements in the West Bank and dismantle those that have been built.
- Cessation of the construction of the West Bank wall and dismantling of what has already been built.
- Cessation of the sale of arms and repressive material to the state of Israel.
- Demand that the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees, in particular, reverse the impact of the withdrawal of funds by the United States government.
- Initiation of an active diplomatic policy to allow the return to their land of the more than five million Palestinian refugees who so wish and to make effective the right of self-determination of the Palestinian people (including the five million refugees).
Call to boicot the Zionist conference in the University of Murcia
FAI Murcia together with a group of University students protested against a conference organised by Israeli CEEIM within the University of Murcia.
The protest denounced the crimes of Israel against the people of Palestine and called to boicot of Israeli products.
