First Anti-Imperialist Conference in Valencia
Organised by the FAI Valencia and convened on 28 May, the 1st Anti-imperialist Conference was held at the El Micalet Theatre on Saturday 1st of June.
In the first part, Andrés Piqueras, professor at the Jaume I University of Castellón explains the keys to the geopolitical situation and the reckless efforts of the United States to resist its unstoppable decadence, putting the whole planet at risk of destruction.
Next, Sara Rosenberg, writer and FAI militant, explains U.S. interventions in what it considers its backyard, Latin America, in order to maintain control and dominance over its resources.
Eduardo Hernandez, architect and FAI activist, then shows the keys to the current offensive against Venezuela as a key to further control of the entire subcontinent.
Finally, Manuel Pardo, a retired soldier and member of the FAI, briefly reviews the history, organization and main activities of the FAI.
The XV State Solidarity Meeting awards the Sixth Prize to the most lying media against Cuba
The XV State Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, which was celebrated in Rivas (Madrid) on 7, 8 and 9 June 2019, AGREES:
“TO GIVE THE III PRIZE TO THE MEDIA OF MOST MENDACIOUS COMMUNICATION AGAINST CUBA” of the Spanish State that has accumulated the most merits in the art of slandering, manipulating, falsifying and misrepresenting news and information against Cuba and its Revolution between two consecutive Meetings, according to the criteria of the Associations of Solidarity with the rebellious island.
This prize has been awarded to the television channel LA SEXTA, whose veneer of supposed progress contrasts with the increasingly accentuated hypocrisy displayed by its newsreels and panelists that are ” aspiring philosophers”.
