In August 2018, the President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, announced to the world a Campaign promoted by a group of Latin American intellectuals to declare August 9th as International Day of American Crimes Against Humanity. On that day in 1945, the United States dropped its second atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.
This call, which was very well received and supported by the Latin American population, hardly resonated in the central countries, in particular, in those such as the Spanish state in which, being subordinate powers, their political, legal, business, media and military actors play an essential role of complicity and participation in the war waged by imperialism against countries that do not submit themselves.
We therefore make an appeal to support the Campaign, the content of which can be accessed HERE. The campaign can be supported individually or collectively, by signing the adhesion on the form that appears there, adhesions that will be transmitted to the promoters of the international campaign.
Further actions of this Campaign will be duly announced on our website.
