Action in Support to Korea

FAI Murcia Participated in the Presentation of the Sandinista Platform
In an act with the intervention of the Ambassador of Nicaragua in Spain, Mr. Carlos Midence, the Platform of Sandinistas of Murcia was presented.
The Platform of Sandinistas of the Region of Murcia, through the Nicaraguan resident in Murcia, Sandra Barahona, expressed its objective of consolidating and expanding this Platform in support of the Sandinista movement in her country.
Several comrades of the FAI-Murcia have participated in the Act and we resolutely supported this much needed initiative in a moment of ideological hegemony of imperialism that creates a public opinion based on false news to preserve the economic interests of a few against the majority of the population, relying on the exclusive ownership of the “information” media.
Bolsonaro or Protofascism
On Wednesday, February 13, an event was held at the CAUM in Madrid, organized by the FAI, analyzing current affairs in Brazil and solidarity with Venezuela.
The event was originally called “Bolsonaro or Protofascism”, with the participation of the Brazilian Marxist historian Virginia Fontes. However, the recent events in Venezuela, with the imminent threat of a US military intervention and, given the prominence that the Bolsonaro government has acquired in the interference against Venezuela, from the FAI we also decided to invite the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic to update us on the current situation.

Delivery of Signatures to the Venezuelan Embassy in Spain
In the act, the FAI delivered the 1681 signatures collected in support of the letter addressed to the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela repudiating the position of the Spanish government recognizing the self-proclaimed “President in Charge,” a puppet of the United States and ready to play its role in the coup d’état and military invasion if necessary.
Imperialist Hands Off Venezuela
Summoned by the comrades of Red Roja and the PCPE and supported by the FAI among many other organizations, last night a rally was held at the Puerta del Sol in Madrid to express the support of the people of Madrid for the Bolivarian Revolution and the repudiation of the blatant imperialist aggression that is developing at this time and that will not cease in the immediate future.
The act was attended by a few hundred demonstrators, who were continuously harassed by counter-demonstrators who, organized and financed by the powerful ultra-right of the Venezuelan colony in Madrid, met to break up the act, exhibiting threatening attitudes, in the face of the passivity of a police that showed an unusual tolerance with an unreported counter-demonstration.
Imperialismo en África: el caso de los Grandes Lagos
Organised by the Internationalist Anti-imperialist Front, Umoya and the Complutense University, on Wednesday 27 February, at 3:30 p.m., there was an open seminar in classroom on imperialism in Africa and the case of the Great Lakes.
The humanitarian situation in this region does not make headlines in the media and yet it is the deadliest conflict in human history only surpassed by the Second World War. The few times that the subject is spoken of, it is done by parts and events decontextualized and fragmented as the “genocide of Rwanda”, “the wars of Congo”, the “massive violations” or “the coltan of the telephones”, but without any interest in understanding the relationship between all of them, this conflict of low intensity that their populations suffer since the false independence. It is a history that is no different from other regions that suffer the aggression of imperialism motivated by economic plundering, except for the intolerably high number of victims.
