The Valencia Committee of the IAF shows its total solidarity, as part of our commitment to proletarian internationalism, with the Bolivarian people and government of Venezuela.
We denounce the attempts on the part of imperialism, both U.S. and European, as well as its satellites within the so-called “Grupo de Lima” or the OAS, or outside these spheres, which try to carry out acts of interference and interventionism against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, with the objective of promoting a coup d’état to put an end to the advances of the Bolivarian Revolution and to overthrow the legitimate pessident, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
We also publicly denounce the position of the government of the Spanish state, in the hands of the PSOE, for placing itself in imperialist positions, making unfortunate statements about Venezuela, as well as not sending an official representation to the inauguration of President Nicolás Maduro on January 10.
For all these reasons, the Committee of the FAI of Valencia resolves:
1º To condemn any act of interference by imperialism, wherever it comes from, against the people of Venezuela.
2° To ratify our support for the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution, as well as its President and leader, Nicolás Maduro Moros, re-elected in the last democratic elections and legitimately sworn in as President for the period 2019-2025, on January 10, 2019.
3° To guarantee that the Internationalist Anti-imperialist Front will continue to defend, by all the means at our disposal, solidarity and proletarian internationalism, in defense of the peoples of the world, in their inalienable right to achieve freedom, peace and emancipation, against capitalism, imperialism and the war and barbarism they generate.
Valencia Committee of the IAF, 11 January 2019.
